CCBB Realism Exhibit

It was my first time exploring CCBB! The cultural center has a bunch of free events, but it's tricky to get there without a car.

Renan and I went to the Realism Exhibition, which included a mix of photos, drawings, sculptures, and virtual reality.

These were some of my favorite pieces of the exhibit, and from afar they were breathtaking.

Some pieces were confusing.

The exhibition used three buildings, which you took paths between the buildings to get to.

There were even some hammocks to hang out with by this grassy section.

Renan enjoying one of the video portions. This one had a mountain scenery that zoomed through the snowy scene.

I snapped a picture as we were waiting to go in the ball pit virtual reality, which I think was the oddest portion. You sat in the ball pit, but the scene was of being in a bath tub.

Simultaneously, there was an antique car show occurring.

In the back of the exhibit buildings, there were some jungle gyms for children. They were all very funky designs and engaging.

There were also some food carts out front, and the burger truck was using a car trunk grill!

We ended the exploring adventure with some ice cream in Asa Sul. It was some of the best Gelato I've ever had, but expensive. All smiles because it was an awesome day of adventures, seeing new places, and getting to know a friend better.
